On Thursday, June 23, from 5 to 7 p.m., Windham Regional Woodlands Association will sponsor a tour of Cersosimo Lumber Company. Please join us for a guided tour of a modern double-cut band sawmill operation that produces hardwood lumber and White Pine lumber from local forests. The lumber reaches markets all over the globe.
Dress appropriately for a short hike and, for safety, wear appropriate closed-toe footwear — no sandals or flip flops, please! Cersosimo Lumber will provide hearing protection and safety glasses.
If you would like to attend, please contact John Caveney or call 802-254-4508 Ext. 129 by Monday, June 20. That will help ensure that we have the necessary safety gear readily available for all participants. This program is free and open to the public. However, no children under the age of 12 and no pets, please.
