The Windham County Natural Resources Conservation District is seeking a District Manager. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to conservation issues; be highly organized; have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; work effectively with partner organizations and landowners; and be a self-starter able to work independently. Computer skills a must. Diverse tasks include grant-writing and project administration, bookkeeping and budget management, public education, and some field work.
The position is currently 20 hours per week, with potential for growth. Flexible working hours with occasional evening or weekend time. Based in Brattleboro.
