Membership in Windham Regional Woodlands Association includes many benefits:
- subscription to our quarterly newsletter, Woodlot Tips
- use of the library
- notification of our Programs, including the Annual Meeting
- discounts on programs, if there is a charge.
In becoming a member, you have the opportunity to increase your knowledge of how to care for your woodlot and to encourage others to learn, but you do not have to own woodland to join. Anyone interested in promoting our goals, receiving our newsletter, or attending meetings and workshops is welcome. Almost all of our programs and meetings are free for members and non-members, but when there is a charge (e.g., for a WRWA training or chainsaw-safety course) members typically receive a discount.
The membership year runs from July 1 through June 30 each year, with the Annual Meeting being held in September. Annual dues are $20.00.
WRWA is a membership driven organization that relies on the active involvement of its members which keeps the dues low. The modest membership dues are used to cover only the basic operating expenses such as supplies and the newsletter. The scholarship program and any funds needed for programs are funded by donations beyond annual membership dues. Please consider a donation to the Scholarship Fund and/or the Halsey Hicks Education and Program Fund. All membership contributions above the basic $20.00 are tax deductible and will be placed in either the Scholarship Fund or the Halsey Hicks Education & Program Fund.
To join or renew your membership online, fill out the form, and either pay with credit card or a Paypal account.
